Nikara’s Journey Training Waitlist
Caring for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Children
Currently the following Nikara’s Journey sessions are scheduled and still have places available:
- Wednesday 2 October to Thursday 3 October . In person Dandenong VACCA . Level 2, 1 - 7 Langhorne Street, Dandenong VIC 3175
- Saturday 26 October. Saturday 2 November. Online
- Friday 15 November and Saturday 16 November. Online
If you are unable to attend any of these currently scheduled Nikara’s Journey sessions, please join our waitlist. We will inform you when new sessions are available.
Follow the story of Nikara and her non-Aboriginal foster parents as they learn how to provide the right support, respect her identity, and keep her safe and connected to her family, culture, and community.
This program provides both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Carers with the knowledge to care for and support Aboriginal children. Priority for this training will go to carers with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children or young people in their care.
