This session is for carers of children aged 0-18 and will cover:

• Social media and Gaming dangers
• Unwanted Contact and Grooming
• Privacy and Security
• Reporting and responding to instances of Cyberbullying & Image-Based Abuse (non-consensual sharing of nudes)
• Using parental controls
• Reducing exposure to violent and pornographic content
• Setting usage limits

The presenters Steve Villani and Rebecca Martin from Evolve Education are passionate about ensuring children and young people have safe online experiences and develop positive relationships with technology. They both have a background of working in and with schools and acknowledges the unique challenges families currently face in the digital space.

The session is designed for kinship, foster and permanent carers.
